Ibi Akinkuade is the Head of People Operations and Compliance at the University of Greenwich, bringing substantial experience leading high-performing HR services within the Higher Education sector. She provides strategic leadership across the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring people operations are efficient, inclusive, compliant, and aligned with institutional priorities. Ibi has delivered major transformation programmes, including the University’s People Help Desk, digitalisation of core HR processes, enhanced Oracle Cloud functionality, and senior-level recruitment frameworks. Her experience spans reward, resourcing, onboarding, employee relations support, systems optimisation, and EDI-driven service improvement. She has played a key role in strengthening governance, embedding compliance, and developing collaborative partnerships across the University. A values-led and impactful leader, Ibi is committed to building inclusive, future-focused People Operations that enhance employee experience and enable organisational success. She is also pursuing an MPhil/PhD in Business, focusing on organisational acculturation and the onboarding of employees entering new cultural environments, enriching her evidence-based approach to People Operations and Compliance.
