The next workforce reality: Skills, trust, transparency, and the employee experience in an AI-enabled organisation
As roles evolve, skills shift, and AI becomes embedded in everyday work, employees are asking sharper questions about what this means for their future. Which skills will still matter? How will AI influence opportunity, progression, and performance? What happens when workforce decisions become more data-led, more automated, and less visible to the people affected by them? This keynote explores how HR leaders can prepare the workforce for an AI-enabled organisation without treating change as a communications exercise. From reskilling and internal mobility to manager readiness, transparency, workforce planning, and ethical decision-making, the session examines how organisations can build confidence in the next phase of work. Attendees will learn how to create an employee experience where people understand how AI is being used, how their skills can keep pace, and why trust must be designed into adoption from the start. Key takeaways: - Understand how AI is reshaping workforce expectations, skills demand, internal mobility, and career confidence. - Explore how HR leaders can address employee anxiety through transparency, ethical governance, and clearer communication. - Learn how to prepare managers to support teams through AI-driven changes to work, performance, and capability. - Discover how to build workforce planning and reskilling strategies that help employees adapt, not just react.
